From November 26 to 27, the First Jiangxi Provincial Foreign Language Premium Course Exhibition for International Students and the Seminar on Enhancing English Teaching Competence were held in Nanchang. The University Physics course, delivered by Associate Professor Ye Kuntao from our university, was selected among the first batch of Jiangxi Provincial Foreign Language Premium Courses for International Students.

During the seminar, Associate Professor Ye Kuntao represented our university by delivering a model teaching session for attendees from across the province. In a fully English demonstration lecture, Ye elaborated on the target students, teaching objectives, instructional design, teaching methods, and procedures, demonstrating solid competence in English teaching and international pedagogical practice. The event was also attended by faculty representatives from the School of International Education, the School of Economics and Management (Quality College, MBA Center), and the School of Civil and Surveying Engineering, who are involved in teaching international students at our university.

Taking this selection as an opportunity, the university will further optimize the curriculum system for international students, with emphasis on developing high-quality English-taught courses in specialized fields. These efforts aim to continuously improve the quality of education for international students and enhance the university’s internationalization level, injecting new momentum into the institution’s global development strategy.
